Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
Super sturdy and easy to use/install. Love the bolt hitch attachment, keeps the rack from swaying/wobbling. Attachment points are very solid and the anti swing clips keep your bikes from smashing into each other and the rack during fast starts and stops. I use for all types of bikes, road, mountain, cruiser, children's, etc.
The good: I like the way the bikes are held in and the ability to add the upright adapters to the bike frame holders. The straps are quality too. For a jeep with a spare tire, this is the perfect length to clear it. This rack is 5 stars from the bike holders to the base of it. The bad: the 2"receiver adapter and bolt are insufficient. I wish they made this in a solid 2" hitch. The entire setup is held into the receiver by a very short bolt. It only goes about half way into the receiver tube. So your hitch is only "secured" on one side. A hitch pin or bolt should go through the receiver tube completely imo so it can be secured on the other end with a retaining clip or nut. Because this only goes in the one side, the entire weight of the rack plus bikes are held tight to one side of the receiver by the undersized bolt and washer. A few bumps down the road and that bolt loosens. Now instead of distibuting the weight of the rack and bikes on the receiver and post, it's completely up to the bolt to keep you from losing the rack. The bolt threads get damaged too. I took this down a dirt road and nearly lost everything. I had to buy my own bolt with hd fender washers and lock washers to correct this. Thule should've provided this from the start. The current short bolt design where only one side of the receiver secures the rack is unacceptable. This rack is 1 star at best for the connection to the receiver.

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
It was obvious that we received a product that was returned by someone else when the box was overly taped shut, a support collar was broken, and most of the pieces were out of their ripped plastic bags. However, it was a great price to hold 5, 26" and/or 27" Trek bikes. I used a piece of the broken collar and went ahead and assembled the rack. Due to the weight of the 5 bikes it did not wobble that much when driving, as one of the bike tires was up against my car. I can only imagine that if we received an untampered product that this review would have been 5 stars. The picture is a little hard to see, but there are 5 Trek bikes on the rack on my 2020 Toyota Seinna.
We received a damaged box, damaged items, no instructions, the nuts and bolts are completely stripped and not inside a bag. This was obviously used, returned, not checked for quality and sent out. We are extremely upset.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Rack is very sturdy and heavy duty. Instructions were terrible. Locking hitch pin would not thread correctly and ended up damaging it. Thankfully the threads on rack were fine and I was able to use the non-locking threaded pin. Would like a replacement locking pin ASAP
If you've done any research or read any of the other comments on either this rack, or this seller...rest assured they really are as good as everyone says! I ordered my rack on around 4pm est on a Friday afternoon and within an hour I received an email that said they have shipped my product AND upgraded to priority shipping. Can't say enough positive things about the customer service! When the rack arrived, it took me a little over half an hour to get it set up. Probably would e been faster if I were even slightly mechanically inclined (or if didn't I didn't have to borrow a socket wrench from my neighbor). We finally had an opportunity to load up the bikes and head out for a ride today. As others have said, the first time you load up your bikes, it's kind of like a puzzle to get them situated. Took about 15 minutes. This rack is awesome! Very sturdy and the bikes were very secure. Only racks I have had in the past were rooftop fork mount racks. This is so much easier! On e we got to the trail (over an hour drive) getting the bikes off was a piece of cake. Afterwards, it was time to load them back up and it was less than 5 minutes to get them all on and ready to hit the road. There were other 4-bike racks on the website, but this one had enough great reviews that I felt comfortable making the purchase. After the fact, I'm very glad I did! I can't imagine the $800 rack can be that much better than this, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4-bike platform rack. I will definitely recommend this rack and etrailer.com to everyone I know.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
First-time rack buyer / owner / installer. The rack arrived in a timely fashion, maybe a day or 2 ahead of schedule. It was well packaged. I’m LOVING this bike rack. It was easy to put together and to mount on my new Honda Passport. Thus far, no squeaks in my 2” receiver. Hardest part of initial set-up is figuring out the best way to position two bikes. Trial & error and some patience. The directions weren’t clear as to where the 2 left-over screws went. I found the answer in another review and have posted a pic in case others have the same problem (photo with pen pointing at screw). These screws go in the underneath side of both of the folding arms. They appear to keep the wheel wells from sliding off in case in you drive with an empty, un-folded rack, and forgot to tighten down the wheel wells. The folding arm push / pull pins can be difficult at times. I coated the tips with some lube. That and a little jiggling seems to solve that issue. I guess it’s better for the pins to be snug vs popping right out. I added a small Master lock to the hitch pin (in lieu of the provided cotter pin) as a theft deterrent. I read that a 3/16 shackle lock will fit into the bike clamp down arms to also act as a deterrent. I had an old 3/16 lock that did snugly fit and appeared to be locked. HOWEVER, I yanked on the lock and it came open as there isn’t quite enough clearance for the shackle to lock. I discovered that longer 3/16 shackle locks are hard to find. Have attached a photo of the lock that actually fits and works (Ace Hardware). One lock on the upper clamp down arm will secure both arms as the lower arm can’t be removed without removing the upper arm. The clamp down arms appear to be coated to prevent damage to your bike. I’ve tried a simple rag and ultimately settled on pool noodle pieces as a precautionary measure. I CAN NOT open my tailgate (regardless of whether or not the rack is fold up and in the bike carry position). If that’s a concern for you, then spring for the more costly titling version. My back-up camera still functions.
So far so good. It is exactly what I thought it would be... So far no surprises. I received it and had it installed within 15 minutes. It's installed on the front of a Ford E350 van which is built out as a Coleman RV. I was worried about clearances but as the pictures show that is not a problem at all.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Quick and reliable shipping and was able to take to my mechanic to get it installed and it works perfectly with my bike rack!
This is a very solid product! I have used it for over a year now and love it! I have had up to 3 bikes on this without a problem and have traveled over 8 hours in the car one way with absolutely no issues. Many other bike racks like this one that I see on other cars look unstable this is not unstable in anyway. I did have to file some of the paint off of the rack to get it to fit in my 1 and 1/4" hitch but once that was done it has been perfect. I also bought the locking hitch bolt which is awesome too.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I own a 2005 Jeep Wrangler X with 31x10.5x15 oversized tires and wheels. I installed B6196001 HighRock 4x4 Oversize Tire Carrier by Bestop to carry larger spare tire. I needed a bike carrier that would carry our two crusier bikes and clear my spare tire. After measuring, I ordered: -> S64650 - Swagman 2-bike carrier -> 80300 - 7" Hitch Adapter 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver -> RM-061 - Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches Our order arrived very quickly, etrailer.com upgraded the shipping. All these products arrived well packaged and without damage. In 15 minutes I had every thing assembled, installed on my Jeep and bikes loaded. The bike carrier is very well constructed, finish is excellent and easy to adjust. When adjusting wheel loops and loading bikes, make sure you pay attention to bike pedal position. I chose this extension because I did not want to use the adapter that comes with the bike carrier, I wanted as few parts as possible to keep rattles to a minimum and gives me more options for towing. The anti-rattle bolt/pin firmly secures the bike carrier to the extension and the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch keeps the extension adapter from rattling in the receiver. Road tested approximately 25 miles over rough city roads ( including railroad tracks ), county roads and highway. Bikes traveled very well without any rattles. I can remove my complete setup quickly, fold and put in rear of Jeep if desired. I am very well pleased with my purchase. Note to etrailer: Please consider offering Roadmaster Quiet Hitch in black to match receiver and accessories. Paul In the Land of Oz . . . Just South of the Yellow Brick Road!
It works great! Easy, quick, you know. One needs to screw in the hitch bolt, for some reason, before latching it. Other than that, it makes going bike riding way easier.

Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Roof Rack Crossbars - Frame Mount
As always with products I buy from e-Trailer, this item is exactly as advertised and works perfectly. Easy assembly, I bought 2 but only installed one until I check the fit with my rooftop carrier.
Planning on bringing bikes while camping. I mounted 2 of the Swagman bike racks to my new Sportrack on my pop-up camper. The bikes fit perfectly. The racks seem sturdy enough. Not heavy duty, but for my needs they should be fine. Assembly was relatively fast and easy.

Swagman XP Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
Bike carrier works great. It is built well and does what I expected.
Purchased this after reading some of the other reviews and Q&A on etrailer - i hadn't thought about the fact that how the crossbars on the bike are configured makes a difference - 3 of our 5 bikes wouldn't have fit on a two bar bike rack because the openings are two small (I ended up measuring them before selecting a rack). I still ended up having to use the adapter for one of them which works great. Installation was easy (I had uhaul put a receiver hitch on my 2012 odyssey the week before) - you do have to pull a pin on the bottom of the rack when you tilt it, which some might consider an inconvenience compared to some of the other brands that just have release levers, but i view it as less stuff to break compared to those racks. If you're going to have it on a lot and park in a garage, consider the fact that it doesn't collapse because it does add significant length to the vehicle. 5 bikes are definitely doable if you set it up correctly. I think its the most versatile rack you can get based on the way it holds the bikes and would definitely recommend.

Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I’ve ordered multiple products from etrailer and the service is always attentive and delivery is fast. This bike rack installed easily and holds our four bikes securely (we have two adult and two kids bikes).
I have used this rack a lot in the past year and am happy with it. I have had zero issues. The price can not be beat. It holds 4 bikes easily for me but it helps to have a mix of sizes to offset the handlebars a little (I carry small and medium size bikes). I also found orienting the pedals up and down work better than front to back. Loading and unloading is quick once you get the hang of how to align the pedals. Where it differs from a rack 4X the price, this does strap around the frame so I have taped my bike frames to prevent paint damage. It bolts into the receiver, so it does take a wrench to install (it's not hard but an extra step). For the price this is a very solid rack and gets the job done.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
Great rack. I got a used unit from etrailer that was in like-new condition except for the packaging. It’s heavy-ish but manageable. The only issue is that the hitch tite insert will slide into the rack if you don’t keep it level when lifting into the hitch receiver. I’m using the freedom 4 on my Lexus GX 460, which has a swing out lift gate. Access is minimal with the rack level and the bike in place. It opens about 75% of the way with the bike removed and the rack level. I haven’t actually need to use the tilt function, but it’s nice to have in case need full access is ever needed.
WOW WOW WOW That is what I just kept saying after installing this Saris bike rack. I have been looking for a bike rack for almost 3-4 months now. Thule and Yakima didn't have what I was looking for. Their solution for a 4-5 bike rack is too complicated, not efficient, and it would be a nightmare to manage on a regular basis. So I couldn't get myself to pull a trigger on any of those and I kept searching. Finally, I came to eTrailer and found out about Saris. That is where the love starts :) We are a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 grown-ups). I needed something that will help me load bikes fast, unload them and still be able to have access to the back of my Toyota Sequoia. Saris delivered in every way. Assemble of the item is straight forward. Instructions are clear and to the point. They even give you a yellow strip that helps you mark where the hitch needs to be in order to align hole openings for easier installation after you install it the first time ;) The back-up camera is still usable but not 100%. Tilting down the rack with the bikes on it is simple as 1-2-3. There is plenty of room left between the trunk door and the bike as you can see on the pictures. One HUGE benefit is that you do not need any extra parts for kids bikes. Not like with other brands. Saris delivers tremendously on this part too. No shaking, rattling, or anything that would make you notice that you have this amazing product on the back of your SUV/truck. I can't recommend it more. I am just surprised that this product has not been more advertised and represented compared to other products.

Hollywood Racks Road Runner Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
So, one year in, this works well for the price. I have successfully hauled around 5 bikes a couple times now including a couple vacations. Bikes got there securely despite 4+ hours of driving at interstate speeds, including one harrowing stretch on bumpy roads with 70 mph speed limits (wow Texas, seriously?) where the car got significant amounts of "air" at random intervals. Getting the bikes on and off is still a major pain. I had to buy the adapter for 3 womens/children's bikes. My own full size mountain bike barely fits on, too, the pitch between the bars seems a bit challenging and requires me to contort the bike dramatically to get it on and off. If you are trying to actually get 5 bikes on here, figuring out the bike handle tetris game is not easy. Will take you a bit. It still takes me ~15 min to load 5 bikes up every time. On short trips I sometimes skip the tiedown through all the bike wheels and it's fine, although I wouldn't do it for long trips. My biggest regret here is not buying one where the rack will pivot out to allow access to the rear minivan hitch with the bikes attached -- this means this is the last thing to pack in the car and the first thing you unpack, every time on vacation. It requires planning and forethought. The rack does fold down nicely which we used extensively on vacation once the bikes were unpacked, just don't drive around that way. On my Honda minivan the bottom of this sags a bit when fully loaded with bikes, to the extent I scrape hard every time exiting my slightly inclined driveway. We found a few other low spots along our way, from restaurants to other businesses, that resulted in similar cringe-inducing moments. We drove it on the beach quite a bit, after a healthy wash with the pressure washer there is some mild rusting where the handles rotate, but the rack is otherwise in good shape.
Bought several bike racks and trailer hitches from etrailer. They followed up to make sure all was good. I would highly recommend buying from them. Good people and they care about the customer!
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Honda Odyssey
Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule T2 Pro XTR and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Honda Odyssey. This is gonna be a platform-style bike rack capable of carrying up to two bikes, it's gonna hold the bikes by the front tire using this wheel hook. You can see that the wheel hook is on either side and alternating directions, and because it holds the bike by the tire and not the frame, it's gonna be a great option for carbon frame bikes and alternative frame bikes. With a 60 pound weight capacity, excuse me, per bike, it's gonna be able to handle some e-bikes too. And not to mention, out of the box, this is ready to work with fat tire bikes and kids' bikes as well, so really, a wide range, really anything you could imagine.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Honda Odyssey
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Rack's Destination e-Bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Honda Odyssey. Now like the name suggests this is an e-bike rack capable of carrying up to 70 pounds per bike. It's gonna be one of my favorite options for e-bikes if you want some assistance loading it because it does come with a ramp. One of the nice things about it.

Hey, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at how the RockyMounts GuideRail two-bike platform rack fits on our 2023 Honda Odyssey. The GuideRail is one of my favorite bike racks just because of its versatility. It's a dual wheel mounted bike rack, which means it secures your bike by the front as well as your rear wheel. And you have other fun features like a heavy-duty cable lock as well as how it fits bikes of different shapes and sizes.

Hey, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at how the Hollywood Racks Destination 2 platform rack fits on the 2023 Honda Odyssey. So, the Destination 2 is very popular because of how lightweight and easy it is to install and its price point. It's a very affordable rack but also gives you the stability of a platform rack. CURT Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Honda Odyssey
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at how the Curt Premium hanging rack fits on the 2023 Honda Odyssey. So the Curt Premium is one of my favorite racks when it comes to how many bikes it can carry without being so difficult. With hanging racks it's really tough to get different frames up on there, but this has a unique design where it's more narrow towards the front, making it easier for those mountain bikes or those smaller bikes. Now you are gonna have to have a hitch on your Odyssey to use this. So make sure to get the two inch version. Now here we have one, two, and three touch points.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Honda Odyssey
Hi everyone, It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the RockyMounts AfterParty swing away bike rack. And we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Honda Odyssey. So the AfterParty is ideal if you want a rack that swings away and gives you all the clearance. So if you're using your Odyssey for the camping car maybe you're at your destination, you wanna set up camp behind the car, this is gonna be a great way to do so while still carrying around your bikes in a safe manner. So this is very similar to the RockyMounts GuideRail. So if you're curious about the features of the rack check out the full review.
Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Honda Odyssey
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Swagman Skaha 2 bike rack, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Honda Odyssey. So the Swagman Skaha is a good rack if you have those heavy electric bikes, and with the Odyssey, I recommend getting the separate ramp and bridge attachment. There is a good amount of ground clearance with this vehicle, so it's hard to lift those bikes high up and into the hitch receiver or hitch-mounted bike rack, but the ramp and bridge actually works really well with this rack, and I would recommend checking that out if you have a heavy electric bike, but this also has some other features, like it tilts away and you have a front wheel mount, which makes it easier to load those bikes up. So the first feature we'll take a look at is that tilt away feature. There is this bright green lever here in the back.

Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 two by platform rack here on our 2022 Honda Odyssey. So whether you have the inch and a quarter hitch receiver or the two inch hitch receiver, whether you want gray, black, or pearl, you can get those different color options for your vehicle.
Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Honda Odyssey
What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the CURT Premium 4-Bike Bike Rack on our 2022 Honda Odyssey. This is gonna be a hang-style bike rack that can handle up to four bikes so you can see they can sit just like that all along here. Now, this one's kind of unique because it's got tapered ends here. So not only is it gonna help with loading and unloading it's gonna help with kids bikes 'cause sometimes when it's spaced out like this on hang-style bike racks you have to get a bike adapter bar to make it work. So this is more in, so you won't have to get that.

So if you're looking away of maybe having a little less contact on your hanging style, definitely recommend this guy as you are getting a nice distance between each bike and some pretty good sway control as well.

The platform itself, not too much going on it, just a couple of straps to actually hold onto our back tires. Of course, gonna stay nice and sleek on the rear of our vehicle. Now, if you are worried about accessories as well, this does come in a host of different colors.
Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Honda Odyssey

So the rack that we have here today can hold up to a total of two bikes. But if you're looking to carry an additional one, there's a three bike version available as well. Now what really separates this one is it's made from aluminum so it's going to be really lightweight. So say for example, you need to take it out, say throw in a cargo carrier.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Honda Odyssey TH44VR

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Honda Odyssey

Zach: Hey everybody, Zach here at etrailer.com.Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima BackRoad on our 2019 Honda Odyssey. This is going to be a really nice hanging style bike rack. My favorite part about it is how it spaces all the bikes out. A common issue with hanging style bike racks is they tend to sit a little closer together, they start coming into contact with one another. This does a really good job of spacing them out. So we have seven inches between each cradle here.
What our customers are saying:
"I purchased a hitch, wiring harness, bike carrier and bike adapter for a newly redesigned 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. Everything arrived in a matter of days and either fit or worked perfectly. Great prices, quality and service support. Rest assured, I'll be recommending you to anyone who asks. Thanks again."
